Liang Mao is the Executive Director at STA WuXi AppTec’s Shanghai site, where he leads the Developability and Formulation Research team. With over nine years at STA and a career spanning two decades, he is an expert in drug developability, physical form screening, and bioavailability enhancement. Before joining STA, Liang spent six years at Novartis focusing on pre-formulation and preclinical development. His earlier experience includes four years in research and biopharmaceuticals. He holds a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from Nanjing University of Technology.
