Nunzio Denora earned his degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Bari in 2001 and completed a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Palermo in 2004. He subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the University of Kansas (2005–2006). He later joined the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” as an assistant professor and research scientist in Pharmaceutical Technology. Since 2023, he has served as a full professor of Pharmaceutical Technology and Legislation, leading a formulation research laboratory dedicated to advanced drug delivery systems. Prof. Denora coordinates the Industrial PhD program “Sustainable Industrial Technologies for the Development of Therapeutics and Diagnostics – TeSSMeD” and is a scientific advisory board member for the European Paediatric Research Translational Infrastructure (EPTRI). He is Secretary of the Board of the Italian Society of Pharmaceutical Technology and Legislation (SITELF) and serves on the advisory board of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and other journals in the pharmaceutics field.
