Eoin Ó Cearbhaill is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at University College Dublin, where he is Director of the UCD Centre for Biomedical Engineering and Co-Director of the undergraduate and postgraduate Biomedical Engineering programmes. His research focuses on the design and translation of innovative medical devices addressing unmet clinical needs, particularly in minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic delivery applications. He has published extensively in leading international journals and is an inventor on multiple patents, several of which have been licensed to industry. Eoin is an academic co-founder of three university spin-out companies.
