Senior Expert in Technical Drug Development Ema Valentina Brovč holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Biopharmaceutics. After completing her doctoral studies, she spent four years as a research associate at the Faculty of Pharmacy, collaborating closely with the pharmaceutical industry. For the past five years, she has been part of Novartis, where she currently serves as a Functional Lead on multiple projects. Her expertise spans surfactant-related topics, where she leads the global Surfactant Network and acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). In addition, Ema is recognized as an SME for in-use compatibility studies, driving research initiatives that shape strategic approaches for future projects. Beyond her core responsibilities, she actively mentors Ph.D. students in collaboration with academia, fostering innovation and knowledge exchange between industry and research.
