Aiva Simaite, PhD, is a Project Manager and PMO Lead at InnoCore Pharmaceuticals, where she specializes in biodegradable polymer–based long‑acting injectable formulations for both small‑molecule drugs and biologics. She has successfully managed numerous formulation development programs in collaboration with leading pharmaceutical companies and innovative start‑ups. Her expertise includes applied polymer materials for sustained‑release injectables and advanced drug‑delivery formulations.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Simaite held key positions at medical device start‑ups, where she focused on the development of electrospun materials and hydrogel‑based ophthalmic devices. She earned her PhD in Micro‑ and Nanosystems from INSA Toulouse and an MSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from KU Leuven/Université Grenoble Alpes.
