Ramesh Kashi, who recently retired from BMS as senior Scientific Director, has over 35+ years of experience working across start-ups, mid to large biotech / biopharma companies focusing on all aspects of Biologic’s Drug Product development and Manufacturing. He was involved not only in the development of formulations for several marketed therapeutic proteins (e.g. ADVATE, KEYTRUDA and ILUMYA) but also in strategizing the development of early stage, in-licensed complex biologic assets and IND filings. He co-led the Scientific Advisory Board and was deeply involved in the evaluation of various external innovations and technologies related to high concentration protein formulation, stabilization and drug delivery including collaborations with leading academic institutions and niche technology developers. He continues to be interested in emerging biologic modalities like ADC’s, Radio Ligand Therapeutics (RLT’s), Longevity Science and Microgravity Research and Development of novel dosage forms and Bio-Manufacturing in Space.
