This allows for avoiding typical formulation challenges like tablet mass segregation, capping, slow/fast disintegration, low tablet hardness or the changing of the API structure. Celphere, Asahi Kasei’s MCC spherical cores allow the combination of incompatible APIs in one tablet, achieve different release profiles and improve the acceptability of products. Special grades of our pregelatinized starch PC-10 can be applied for the protection of moisture sensitive APIs in the formulation.
