Bionanopharma is a recently established CDMO drug delivery joint venture (JV) between Bioinicia, a GMP-certified nanotechnology company, and the multinational pharmaceutical group InSud Pharma. The JV is focused on the development and scaled manufacturing of various advanced drug delivery systems, currently progressing through preclinical and clinical development stages, leveraging non-thermal electrohydrodynamic processing technologies for the handling and formulation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including biologics.

This presentation will highlight recent POCs in these emerging platforms. Particular emphasis will be placed on proprietary electrospun nanofiber- and electronebulized nanoparticle-based platforms designed to enhance the bioavailability, stability, and targeted delivery of both small molecules and biologics.

Key application areas include needle-free transdermal and transmucosal delivery systems—such as mucosal patch vaccines—as well as pulmonary and intranasal inhalation platforms and nanoscale oral delivery formulations. These technologies offer significant potential for unlocking non-invasive administration routes, improving patient compliance, and enhancing the therapeutic performance of complex biologics.
