Francois is an industry pharmacist by training. He started in the pharmaceutical industry in 2010 and took over different roles in R&D, Production and Quality. He worked for Odyssea Pharma (now part of AbbVie) for almost 9 years on development, process validation and commercial launch manufacturing of a generic intra-uterine device. In 2019, he joined Mithra CDMO as Quality Manager and Qualified Person, being responsible for final batch release of vaginal rings. Since 2022, he is the CMC Director at UniD Manufacturing, a CDMO specialized in polymer-based long-acting formulations. He leads a team of passionate professionals with unique expertise and is responsible for management long-acting formulation and process development as well as formulation manufacturing activities (including GMP).
