René is a Biomedical Engineer by training. In 2015, he joined Sanofi as part of a graduate program in the PMO of its Medical Device unit. He took over different roles as MedTech Project Manager for the development of connected insulin pens, as Connected Ecosystem Integrator and Product Owner for SaMD development (Companion Apps). Currently he is working as Device Technology & Innovation Leader at Sanofi’s Global Device & Packaging Unit. He is responsible for leading internal and external innovation processes as well as early-stage projects. He holds a B.Sc. in Health Informatics (Stralsund University of Applied Sciences) and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering (Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, City College of New York).
