Rob Steendam is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at InnoCore Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical drug delivery company specialized in the development of long-acting injectables (LAI) for the treatment of chronic and site-specific diseases. He heads InnoCore’s internal R&D related to innovative biodegradable polymeric drug delivery technologies and oversees InnoCore’s partnered development programs around LAI dosage forms for various small molecules, peptides and biologics. He is an inventor of multiple patents related to novel biodegradable polymers and their application in drug delivery. He holds a MSc degree in Polymer Sciences and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, both from the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.
