Giulia Caron is an Associate Medicinal Chemistry Professor at the Molecular Biotechnology and Health Sciences Department at the University of Turin. She is mainly interested in property-based drug discovery applied to the beyond-rule-of-5 chemical space. Giulia has a specific focus on the computational prediction and experimental determination of ionization, lipophilicity, polarity and chameleonicity. Moreover, she is also involved in the integration of intramolecular-hydrogen-bond considerations in PROTAC design. Giulia has an extensive publication record, with over 120 papers and book chapters to her name.
