Karen Kammertöns works as project leader with the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Profiling (CPP) group at Novartis Pharma in Basel, Switzerland. This CPP group lies at the interface between Research and Development, and establishes physicochemical and biopharmaceutical properties, and combines this information to initiate development strategy and formulation design. Her area of expertise includes early stage oral, parenteral, and topical drug delivery as well as radiopharmaceutical development. Karen is supporting development of various non conventional dosage forms within Novartis.
